This notice explains what information the Student Achievement Tracker (a.chandrashaker.in), run by Chandras Edu, collects, why, and how it's handled. It applies specifically to this app; the main site's Privacy Policy covers chandrashaker.in itself.
When you submit a certificate through this app, we collect:
The certificate image is processed using OCR/AI extraction to pre-fill the details above. You review and correct every field before submitting — the AI extraction is a starting point, not a final record, since handwritten or stylised text can be misread.
This information is used solely to maintain a record of student achievements for institutional purposes — reducing manual collection and verification work. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to achievement record-keeping.
Submitted data and images are stored in Google Sheets and Google Drive, using the same personal Google account's standard access controls. We do not sell this data or share it with third parties outside the institutional purpose described above.
India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act treats anyone under 18 as a child, with additional protections around consent. If you are under 18, please make sure a parent, guardian, or your institution is aware that you are submitting this information before you proceed.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your submitted data at any time by emailing mailchandrasedu@gmail.com or contacting us through the main site's contact page. We aim to respond within a reasonable time and in line with the DPDP Act's data principal rights.
We may update this notice as the app evolves. The "last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision.
